Jason B. Van Ittersum, M.D.

Dr. Van Ittersum is a Spring Lake native and alumnus of Spring Lake High School. He graduated with honors from the University of Michigan Medical School, where he received the William B. Taylor Award for Excellence in Dermatology, was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, and was honored with the Hewlett-Packard Award, given to the top 5 graduates of each medical school class.

Dr. Van Ittersum completed his residency in dermatology at the University of Michigan, where he received extensive training from world-recognized authorities in medical dermatology, cutaneous oncology and surgical and cosmetic dermatology, including the latest advances in laser techniques. He resides in Spring Lake with his wife Koryn (a local family physician) and their daughters.

Rob A. Gielczyk, M.D.

Dr. Gielczyk grew up in Holland and graduated from West Ottawa High School. He received his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan and graduated with honors from the University of Michigan Medical School. During medical school, he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, an honor bestowed upon only the top 5% of medical students at the institution.

Dr. Gielczyk then completed his dermatology residency at the University of Michigan, where he received comprehensive training in medical dermatology, cutaneous and surgical oncology, and cosmetic dermatology. Recognizing his outstanding skills as a dermatologist, he was asked to remain as faculty, and accordingly spent the next year as a clinical lecturer and staff physician at the University, where he was actively involved in the education and training of future dermatologists. During this year, he was also the acting chief of dermatology at the Ann Arbor Veterans Administration Hospital. Dr. Gielczyk is extremely happy to be back on the west side of Michigan, where he, wife Jennifer Vis, M.D. and daughter Willa have family and friends, and welcomes the opportunity to serve our community.

Jennifer L. Vis, M.D.

Dr. Vis was born and raised on a small farm in Zeeland, and graduated from Zeeland High School in 1995. After receiving degrees in biology and psychology from Grand Valley State University, she joined her future husband at the University of Michigan Medical School. While in medical school, she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, an honor reserved for the top 5% of the class.

Dr. Vis also completed her dermatology residency at the University of Michigan. She resides in Grand Haven with her husband Dr. Gielczyk and daughter Willa. She is excited to be serving the dermatologic needs of the West Michigan community.

Nicole Bossenbroek, M.D.

Dr. Bossenbroek grew up in Muskegon and is an alumnus of Western Michigan Christian High School. She graduated with an honors degree in biology from Calvin College, and attended the Medical College of Wisconsin. She was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and received several other honors, including the Hiram B. Benjamin Award and the American Society of Clinical Pathologists Award for the highest scores in anatomy and pathology.

Dr. Bossenbroek's dermatology training was completed at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, where she received a C.S. Livingood Dermatology Award as the highest-ranked resident in her graduating class. Her Dermatopathology fellowship was completed at New York University Hospital Medical Center, where she trained with an internationally-recognized expert in melanoma. She then spent two years on staff at the University of Connecticut Medical Center, practicing a combination of dermatology and dermatopathology. She now resides in Grand Rapids with her husband Matt, son, Justin and daughter Fiona.

Julie Murray-Dull, PA-C

Julie grew up in Spring Lake and is excited to be back working in the area. After obtaining undergraduate degrees in both Spanish and biology from Hope College in Holland, MI, she earned her Master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Arcadia University in Philadelphia, PA.

Julie and the physicians at Lakeshore Dermatology work together as a team, and are able to provide greater access to our patients having her as a part of the practice. Julie is an expert at evaluating and treating dermatologic conditions, conducting patient follow-up care and performing laser and dermatologic surgery. She particularly enjoys being able to spend time educating patients. In her free time, Julie's life revolves around her daughter Zoe and son Alex, although she used to enjoy traveling, running, tennis, and walks with her Westie dog Daisy!

Sarah Lattig, RN,ADN,CPCS

Sarah obtained her nursing degree from Lansing Community College where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. While working as a Registered Nurse in Dermatology she was trained by Facial Expressions, Inc. in Permanent Cometics (Micropigmentation). As a member of the Dermatology Nurses' Association and the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals, Sarah is held in high regard by both the medical community and beauty industry.

Sarah resides in Grand Haven with her husband and two teenage sons.

Jacquelyn Clark

Jaci has been a licensed esthetician since 2002. She started her career as a skin care specialist at a nationally renowned plastic surgery practice where she received advanced training in medical esthetics, facial peels and superficial skin resurfacing procedures. Jaci emphasizes client education while administering results-driven treatments in an environment that promotes rest and renewal. She is a member of the Society of Dermatology SkinCare Specialists and the American Association for Esthetics Education.

Karen Tiefenthal

Karen is a board-certifed Cosmetologist who received her training at the Peggy White School of Cosmetology. Karen enjoys educating her clients about the services and products available to them at Lakeshore Dermatology. Karen's area of expertise is in providing services to the nails such as Manicure and Pedicure.

Karen resides in Norton Shores with her husband Paul, son Scott and teenage daughter Kara.

Susan Snider

Susan is a board-certified Manual Massage Therapist who received her training at Blue Heron Academy in Grand Rapids, completing the 1200-hour Manual Massage Therapy program. She offers relaxation massage treatments, hot stone massage, and castor oil heat packs. She also specializes in the treatment of low back and neck pain, scoliosis, fibromyalgia, carpal tunnel syndrome and sports and work-related injuries. She is a member of the American Medical Massage Association and the Michigan Medical Massage Association.

Susan resides in North Muskegon with her husband and three teenage children. She is a North Muskegon City Council Member and is active in the North Muskegon Public Schools.
