Filler Injections for Acne

 Used to treat the red or purple spots that are slightly depressed (dented in) compared to the surrounding skin. Typically Cosmoderm is used, and is injected just below the surface of the skin to cover and “mask” the purplish color while expanding the dent up and flush with the surrounding skin. The effect lasts approximately 3 months; when it wears off, the purple spot is usually gone.
